Darcas Macopson is an American actor and producer born in North Carolina. Driven by a lifelong dream of performing, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia after graduating high school to pursue his craft seriously. There he enrolled at The Alliance Repertory Theatre Company, where he built a strong foundation in stage performance, independent film, and national commercial work.
At age 26, Darcas relocated to Hollywood to expand his career. He continued his studies at the Sandy Marshall Acting School and trained privately with acclaimed ethnic coach Joanna Sanchez. His first Los Angeles representation came through agent Michael Green.
In Hollywood, Darcas went on to appear in major feature films including Chill Factor (Columbia Pictures), Lockdown, and The Base. He guest starred on a range of network television series including Tyler Perry's Love Thy Neighbor, CSI: Miami, Cold Case, Bones, The King of Queens, and Las Vegas.
After years in front of the camera, Darcas transitioned into production, channelling everything he learned as an actor into building Darclight Productions. The studio's first major project will be a film drawn directly from his own life story — a personal narrative that spans North Carolina, Atlanta, and Hollywood, told with the honesty and craft that only someone who has lived it can bring.
